Hare's Ear Nymph
This Hare’s Ear Nymph is an all season pattern. This Hare’s Ear Nymph is a general imitator pattern and its buggy appearance allows the pattern to represent a broad range of nymphs of various species. It is a very old pattern indeed and nobody can really pinpoint the origins but it is believed to be European.
Ensure that you have a range of hook sizes, as this pattern imitates nymphs of a multitude of sizes. Most opine that this pattern is bested only by the Pheasant Tail Nymph patterns.
All flies are tied with American sourced materials including Hareline Dubbin Materials and Whiting Farm's Hackles & Capes and are tied on premium hooks.
