Big Horn Shrimp
This Big Horn Shrimp pattern is essentially a scud pattern. It imitates a variety of scud species including Talitridae, Haustoriidae and the most important Gammaridae. Scuds prefer shallow water and when fishing them it is advisable not to fish these patterns in too deep holes more than a few feet deep.
All flies are tied with American sourced materials including Hareline Dubbin Materials and Whiting Farm's Hackles & Capes and are tied on premium hooks.
