Bead Head Green Rock Worm
This Bead Head Green Rock Worm fly represents a number of Caddis larva that are available to trout year round. The Green Rock Worm can be used as a searching nymph, or to match the available food types in a given stream.
It is bright and catches the attention of fish, so it can be used effectively as a lead fly in a tandem nymph rig to attract the fish that often will then take the small trailing realistic pattern.
This Green Rock Worm pattern represents free-living caddis and takes picky trout on very tough rivers. This is a very popular fly in Utah.
All flies are tied with American sourced materials including Hareline Dubbin Materials and Whiting Farm's Hackles & Capes and are tied on premium hooks.
